On the 12th Chris would be flying out. He was heading back to Mass before us. The night before he wanted one more dinner with the Jones’. His final good byes to England.
On the 13th, we had our last dinner with Jen, TJ and Livi. Dinner was great, but it was sad to know the next day we would be saying goodbye.
On the 14th we said ALL of our goodbyes before getting into our taxi, and heading to London. We spent our last night in England down in London closer to the airport. It was a very emotional 20 minutes filled with lots of tears and hugs.
The 14th was also the release of promotion supplements… I made rank!!!! YEAHHH, so needless to say we celebrated that night at the hotel!!! I will actually “put on” my rank in a couple months
The next morning, 15 July, we were up early and off to the airport, heading to Massachusetts!!! Yeah, we would be starting our month of leave.
