We also started saying all of our good-byes in June. Erin was leaving for TDY and would not be back until after we left, it’s sad to say goodbye to really good friends.
We also started having as many BBQ’s, dinner’s and last get togethers as we could…
El celebrated this Father’s Day in London, it was our last time in London before we left. It was also Chris’s last time in London as well. We booked a tour on the London Eye (something we hadn’t done yet) and we ate at the London’s Hard Rock Café (the Original Hard Rock) and to complete our day we found Platform 9 3/4, were Harry Potter was filmed. A fun filled day.
A couple of us were all leaving the same time, so we combined our “work going aways” together. We had a huge BBQ and tons of fun.
We tried a couple nights to just go out and dinner before “Big Good-bye”. This night we went to a pub called “Five Miles from Anywhere No Hurry Inn” it was right on the water, it was beautiful. The food was good and company was GREAT!!
Another night we went to “The Swan”… beautiful place but took us 3 hours to get our food, the only reason we didn’t get up an leave, was the great company we were having with each other…
June was great and sad all at the same time. Lots of goodbyes already.
