The kids and I decided we would walk to the park, get some fresh air and play for a bit! The fall weather is starting to settle in so it is getting a bit chilly out.

The kids loving playing at the park, running around, chasing eachother. It's wonderful how well they play together. All they need is eachother.

I finally took pictures of the front gate.. something I have done at every base… The night we came in was dark and it was also, something like 3-4 in the morning… but here is.. in the middle of NO WHERE!!!
This is the exit you take from the main road…

This gate is actually really cool, it has aircraft on either sides and flags from all 50 states. Warriors of the North.

Sunrise, getting the kids off to school

I was not excited about working shift, but since I have been, I have more days off during the week. Which gives me the opportunity to stay home and get the kids off to school. Usually it is up early, get them ready and hurry out the door.. dropping them off at the Youth Center (which they love anyways). But on my off days, they get those couple extra minutes to sleep in (and who doesn’t love that), then they get ready, eat breakfast at home and get to wait at the bus stop (which they also LOVE).
This morning was beautiful outside, so warm and sunny.. the sunrise was very inviting! What a way to start the day.

10 year Anniversary!!!!

10 years ago today, I married my best friend, the man I fell in love with, and someone who I could not picture my life without now. El has always been there right by my side for over 10 years, through the good and the bad, through the happy and the sad, through sickness and health.
We have two beautiful children who we couldn’t be more proud of or LOVE more than we do. We have built a PROUD career, both servicing our country for over 12 years in the Air Force (which being dual military is not always easy). We have traveled the world, seeing and doing things we are very grateful for. We have made a warm, loving home every where we have been.
Marriage is not something that always come seasy, but after some time you start to learn the tricks of trade and cherish all the smaller things instead of nit picking at the things that don’t matter.  Marriage is a lot of understanding, compromise, communication, loyalty, trust, honesty, values, and so much more, but the most important thing is LOVE, without it, it’s nothing.
We didn’t have a BIG , lavish wedding or even have any of our family or friends there. We got married all by ourselves and neither of us regret a moment of it.
Those things don’t make you married or make you have a long lasting marriage. The only people that make your marriage long lasting and strong is you and your partner.
I definitely lucked out when I met my partner, best friend and the LOVE of my life. To many more years!!!

So a couple days ago, one of the diamonds fell out of my ring, Sad smilethere used to be 4 smaller diamonds in the top of my ring… instead of just replacing the diamond I lost, he had my ring re-done… replacing it with a new diamond on top… It was nice of him to keep it in my original ring setting.

The Pumpkin Patch

Today my friend Sarah and I took our children (all FOUR of them) to the pumpkin patch, YEAHHH!! The Pumpkin patch is actually owned and run by Jaylen's 2nd grade teacher. They had a corn maze, games, haunted trail, hay rides, and TONS of pumpkins!! The kids had a blast. And I got some good pictures (the WHOLE reason I bring them to all these places..lol)
